Aleah Gilbert
Aleah, a Florida native, discovered her passion for enhancing a person’s unique, natural texture through cut and color upon graduating from the Aveda Institute of Jacksonville at the top of her class. But it wasn’t until beginning her career at Salon San Carlos (an education based salon and curly hair destination) where she completely fell in love with the art of hairdressing. Still hungry for more education, she moved to Los Angeles and began LuxeLab’s renown education program to refine her skill and master her craft. Before completing the program, she won first place nationally in the 2022 L’Oréal Style & Color Trophy Competition for textured hair, gaining the title of an award winning stylist, and she hadn’t even graduated yet!
She finds inspiration from every client’s unique beauty. Using her training in classic art theory, she is able to create a cut that specifically compliments her client’s face shape and lifestyle, while knowing exactly which colors would suit and enhance their natural beauty, thereby creating a look completely tailored.
Aleah’s passion behind the chair exists in helping you achieve your dream look, she will prioritize the integrity of your hair, with the knowledge that healthy hair is beautiful hair. But she especially loves giving you complete confidence with your natural hair by enhancing its own inherent beauty and arming you with all of the knowledge needed to recreate your gorgeous new hair at home.
