Anna Bolhous
Anna was born and raised in San Francisco. At the age of 10 she and her family relocated to Iowa, where growing up, Anna had always loved art, drawing and design. This lead her to Iowa State University majoring in graphic design. Later she took a job working as a receptionist in a salon. She was so inspired by hair, fashion, and clients, that a year later she enrolled in cosmetology school and hasn’t looked back.
She began hairdressing in Chicago where she worked for 4 years. Then, seeking adventure, change, and to get back to her California roots, she pulled up stakes and moved to Santa Monica, where, because it was her dream to find a salon that values education and hair as art, she began her career with Luxelab in 2017 and graduated their renown Academy with flying colors.
Since then, Anna has been involved in multiple photo shoots, fashion shows, and special hair events. She continues to put growth first by attending an abundance of advanced education all over the country. But her true passion lies in creating cuts and colors that fit perfectly into each client’s lifestyle while complimenting their unique features. She is a fanatic about maintaining the integrity and health, while making hair beautiful. What’s more, her quirky and upbeat personality makes her a client favorite.
When Anna isn’t at the salon, you can find her at the beach, being a foodie or just hanging out with friends.
