Coco moved to LA from her native South Korea at 17, where she discovered her love for beauty by watching her mother who worked as a beauty professional for years. She was inspired by the confidence and enhanced beauty her mother’s clients seemed to have after visiting her.

Her love for hair developed while she worked as a freelance makeup artist, where she realized how connected she felt to the huge difference the right hair can make to a person, their style, indeed their entire lives. Once she began at Luxelab in 2021, she knew hair was for life.

Having graduated from the prestigious Luxelab Academy, Coco has become an expert at finding each client’s unique needs and delivering on them. Her intense attention to detail and extremely technical mind allow her to see hair in unique ways. She loves effortless hair with seamless color. Her specialty is creating dimensional, soft colors and haircuts with amazing attention to detail for women and men all with a mixture of Korean and American senses of style.
