Michael Napolitano
A native of NYC, Michael Napolitano thrived on the many influences that surrounded him. With over 20 years of experience, Michael has done it all. He began his career at Jingles Educational Academies in Manhattan, has traveled nationally and internationally presenting seminars and educational workshops, worked alongside global creative directors, been published in numerous magazines from Switzerland, Italy, France, and Honduras, and created new technologies designed to enhance the teaching process. He has even been an educational director for a major Italian color manufacturer, has studied marketing and advertising at St. John’s University, and has been a partner and art director in a salon company boasting 3 locations.
Following a whirlwind of opportunity, Michael finally found his home in 2013 at Artlab where he is currently a Senior Stylist and Educator with a bright future.
As a top caliber stylist, Michael still travels the world seeking out progressive hair trends and incorporating them into his dedication to continuing education both for himself and his students. His attention to the future of fashion has helped in providing him the opportunity to work on numerous feature films, photoshoots, charity and promotional events within the fashion industry, attracting a celebrity clientele including: Tommy Lee, Jon Bon Jovi, Dan Turgeman, Mili Avital, Steve Buscemi, Samuel Jackson, Carol Kane, Spike Lee, Mimi Rogers, and Christian Slater; to name a few.
Still dedicated to his bi-coastal clientele, Michael is a brilliant colorist, haircutter and stylist who remains a firm believer in education and hosting training seminars all year around throughout the world. He is truly passionate about hair, and it shows in his work.
